Long & Skinny
Taken a while back, before I knew about white balance settings.. cough cough.. Still for such a wide stitch it turned out ok.. I have a couple of nice ones of this place on film, but it’s yet to be scanned..
The owner has also shown off his new addition by mooring a big fat 20? Footer. I don’t know much about boats.. but it’s big and looks expen$ive!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway it wrecks the scene now. Glad I got something current while i could.

An afternoon with a rainbow
Playing in photoshop
Just found out a cool little technique to make your shots look like they’ve been taken with a tilt/shift lens.
The result is little miniature like scenes, like you’ve taken photos of a little model. Pretty cool to change it up a bit, keeps me from being bored..
Have no idea what happened to the thumbnail but it’s actually a pano, you’ll see more if you click on it

It’s NEVER over
One stormy summer afternoon I was chasing a shot of a rainbow… After thinking that my time was done I began to pack up and head off the beach back to the car, when that little voice whispers – Hey! Turn around!!
With only a few shots left on the XPAN I changed to the 90mm lens and fired off what was left on the roll. I was lucky enough.. actually lucky is just a ‘worldly’ way of saying Gods favour.. So I was favoured enough on that day to catch a shot like this. Pretty stoked.
Gods favour is all around us, sometimes you just have to listen that that little voice, and turn around to see it.

Some bun in the oven shots…
This is jillie, she’s due real soon. So we thought it’d be a good idea to get some photos before she’s busy for the next 18-20 years…
Portraiture is not really my thing, but this was fun anyway
Hey merve, how’d i go? I don’t think you gave too much of a bum steer, but i’m still a newb so i may have missed it still!

4 for 1!
My first camera/love would have to be my trusty noblex..
Here’s a few shots from it- if you know me you’ve probly seen these before, they’re a couple of years old, but still goodies if you ask me!
This shack is a just a few hours drive north.. I went up with a mate on a surf trip and stumbled upon it purely by chance.. we only had the afternoon to get to camp so I shot this and kept on truckin’
Early this year I went up to re-shoot it on my fotoman only to found that it had been knocked down!!! (or maybe fell down, your choice)
These next 2 were taken on the same day.. I love those kinda days
Hey Mick this is that shot I was talking about…
Here’s a link to your one.. Pretty similar day!!

Somersby Falls on the central coast lends itself to some great waterfall shots.. Typically at least amongst friends waterfall/rainforest shots don’t rate that highly, at least as highly as I do. Maybe it’s cause it takes me back to that peace I was experiencing whilst shooting it.. This one is one of my fav’s..
Some friends chipped in and got this Blown up to 50inch’s for a wedding present – framed and on the wall it’s a delight to a photographers heart!
