hey mate… good to hear from you the other day.. seems like you have been up to some cool stuff overseas! how many BASE jumps did you get in norway? were you at kjerag? and working at elsinore ? nice one…
keep it up, living the goodlife ‘n all…
couple of questions..do you have a youtube channel AND a vimeo account? which is better? i started a youtube one a couple years ago but got pissed off when they wouldnt publish the sound to my video because it was ‘mainstream’ music..whatever, everyone else seems to have popular music on their videos and they dont get silenced… maybe i missed a trick to uploading it properly…
also i have just purchased final cut express so will have to send you some vids once i start playing… got a few ideas…
i like your other posts,, the photos in the snow are awesome (as always).. luv your work…
the motivational speaking never wins me over though… i have a longstanding apathy (maybe even hatred?) towards motivational speakers. i dont care who they are or what they’ve achieved, they all say the same shit,,, “motivation comes from within, success comes from within, happiness will come naturally when things are ‘right’ ” yadda yadda yadda… vomit. tell me something i dont know. and the random shots of people in the crowd (cue the feelgood, slow music that gets your heart beating strongly) being ‘motivated’ and ‘won over’ and coming to some sort of epiphany hearing the words that have been said by so many others. ‘wow, if this guy can do it so can i etc etc’….wait a minute, im ranting now, maybe i should turn my focus to motivational speaking,, that’s what all the washed up BASE jumpers and adventurers seem to do… yay, think id be good at it…
love the new look site mate,, keep having a good time, if you pass through alice anytime soon lemme know! you always have a place to crash… 🙂

Hahahaha Man I loved that rant! Yeah I love the cheese in that as they scour through the crowd to find faces doing the slow nod and stuff, classic.
I think I’ll be heading to Norway again, but I want a tracking suit… which in turn leads me to wanting a new Rig. My shrivel flap was coming a bit loose (have some backwards facing gopro footage that was a bit eye opening hehe) so I’d hate to think what a bit more forward speed would do… so yeah, new tracking suit + rig + 3 or so weeks in Norway leads me to being near homeless on the otherside of the world 🙂 Goodtimes.
I got a warning off youtube for that thing but I can’t remember exactly what they said but it obviously never got pulled.. Maybe you used a track that was a direct download from a CD? So in the track info there may be a little code or whatever that tells sites like youtube it’s a straight copy. Know what I mean? Try getting music thats been downloaded and see how you go. I’ve got no Idea really but there is obviously a way as you say there is a ton of vids out there with mainstream music on them.
Alice sounds good, but I don’t have any timeline at the moment so I may miss that window, otherwise it’s a cool idea 🙂
Keep on keeping on
